Trilogy became the first linear accelerator to perform synchronized visualization. The On-Board Imager® (OBI) kV imaging system now provides a wide range of imaging methods, including kV, MB, CTF, and fluoroscopy. Doctors can get high-quality images of soft tissue, bone structures, or other markers for optimal patient positioning. Moreover, OBI allows the use of X-ray, fluoroscopy, and CCPP modes for daily monitoring of the size, shape, and position of the tumor. When a tumor is displaced during the procedure, powerful tools of the Trilogy system come into play to control the movement, tracking and taking into account the movement of the tumor and thus ensuring the exact execution of the procedure. The doctor can observe the position of the tumor and adjust the parameters of the procedure, taking into account the movement of patients.
The Trilogy system represents a wide range of treatment methods for treating the vast majority of patients:
Visual Control Radiotherapy (IGRT)
Synchronized RapidArc technology
Beam intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)
Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
